Nari Jibon: Women's Lives
Providing skills, not handouts, for Bangladeshi women and girls.
Success Stories
The meaning of the word "success" is debatable.  Some would say that managing to fund and operate a social welfare organization in the most corrupted country in the world is a great success.  Others would look at the grants and other funding that a project has garnered.  We prefer to focus on the individual women and the changes that they have been able to make in their lives and the lives of their families as a result of their time at Nari Jibon.

The teachers at Nari Jibon encourage their students to think outside of the "gender box."  The students are beginning to dream beyond what they thought was possible in their lives.  We are continually amazed and inspired by the wonderful accomplishments of the students.  Here are a few examples.

"In future [Papia] will try to expand her business like as she will keep some assistant tailoring workers and she will circulate her business and collect more dress making order etc."
· Masuma Akter
